Necessities:
- 275 ml cold Classic Strong English tea
- 450 grams of dried fruits such as apricots and apples
- 220 grams of brown sugar
- 100 grams finely chopped walnuts
- 100 grams cherries cut into quarters
- 1 egg, beaten with 2 tablespoons of milk
- 450 grams self-rising flour
Preparation:
- Soak the fruits together with the sugar in the tea overnight
- Start the next day by preheating the oven at 170 ° C
- Add the remaining ingredients
- Mix everything well together
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish of 30-25 cm
