Matcha and belongings
Matcha is green tea from Japan. Matcha is made from high quality green tea. The tea plants are placed in the shadow in the last 20 days before they are harvested. This results in a slowed down growing proces of the leaves which stimulates the making of leaf green and gives the leaves a deep, dark green colour. It also stimulates the making of natural amino acids in the leaves. When the leaves are picked, they are very strict. Only the best and nothing less. The process of making matcha takes a long time, it can take over an hour to produce 30 grams of matcha.
